James and Stacie’s Wedding at Kotecki’s Grandview Grove

Today on the blog is James and Stacie’s wedding at wedding at Kotecki’s Grandview Grove. Stacie and James are both nurses. They met at their job Kenmore Mercy Hospital. They knew right away that they were going to be a perfect match for each other. Stacie said that James reminded her a lot of her father. They are both massive Buffalo Bills fans, so when it came time for James to propose, he chose the best place on the earth to a bills fan, the 50 yards line at New Era Field.

The day of the wedding Stacie got dressed at her home in Depew. Surrounded by her sister, aunt, and soon to be mother and sister inlaw. They laughed, and drank mimosas while their hair and makeup was done. Once the girls were dressed, they got inside the limo and headed over to Saint John Vianney where James was waiting for his bride. After their beautiful ceremony they exited our the church surrounded by all of their friends and family and lots and lots of bubbles.

From the church we went straight to Kotecki’s Grandview Grove. All of their bridal portraits were shot right on Kotcki’s property, which is full of great little nooks! Once they joined they guests inside, the night progressed with beautiful toasts, yummy food and fun champagne jello shots!

Thank you both so much for letting us be apart of your beautiful day! It was truly such a special emotional day and we just loved being apart of it. We can’t wait for you to see your full gallery!

Bridget and Tom’s Wedding at Ventosa Vineyards, Geneva NY

Today on the blog is Bridget and Tom’s wedding at ventosa vineyards in Geneva, NY! Bridget and Tom met while they were still in highschool, working at the zoo in the Jungle cafe. They quickly because good friends. Their friendship continued while Bridget was at college. She would come home during the winter and they would spend the days snowboarding at a mountain near where they lived. After 4 years of friendship they finally started dating. As they relationship progressed they added an adorable golden retriever Oliver, and bought their first house together.

When Tom was planning his proposal to Bridget he wanted it to be somewhere that was meaningful to her. He finally decided on her families lakehouse in Geneva, NY. When the day came he tried to convince Bridget to take Oliver to the lake house so he could go swimming, then afterwards go to her favorite restaurant. However, the weather was not on Tom’s side that day. Bridget did not want to take Oliver swimming. Tom quickly came up with a new plan to take Oliver to the dog park and meet up with friends afterwards. Even though plans were changed, he still managed to get a photographer to be at the spot that he was going to propose. While they were walking up a hill at the park, tom started to slow down and when Bridget turned around he was down on one knee! They were met at the park by their friends and they all celebrated the happy news together!

Their Day

September 1, 2018 came so fast. They both go ready at the Ramada in Geneva. For their first look we headed to Bridgets family lakehouse, the one where Tom had originally wanted to propose. Tom waited out on the dock facing Seneca lake while Bridget walked up to him and gently tapped him on the shoulder. Afterwards they walked to her grandparents driveway to take a picture of her and tom walking down the driveway, the same driveway that her grandparents walked up and down everyday.

Their ceremony and reception both took place at Ventosa Vineyards, with the ceremony site overlooking the gorgeous big tree and Seneca lake. After the ceremony everyone headed inside for the cocktail hour and dinner, and might I add some of the yummiest eggplant parmesan I have ever eaten! After dinner and sunset portraits were finished, Silver Arrow Band started to play and the party was on! After hours of dancing they said goodbye to their family and finished the night with all of their guests with a sparkler exit.

Thank you both so much for letting us be a part of your day! I have enjoyed getting to know you over the past year, from your engagement session to the wedding. We wish you both the very best!!

Alyssa and Rick’s Wedding at Glenora Winery, Finger Lakes NY

Their Day

Alyssa and Rick’s wedding at Glenora Winery was a dream come true. A sunny, breezy, Saturday in the middle of August, is what every bride dreams of. Especially when that bride is having an outdoor ceremony! Weddings in the Finger Lakes are quickly becoming my favorite weddings to photograph.

The entire bridal party got ready in Glenora’s hotel rooms. Alyssa rented a small cottage on the property for her and her bridesmaids to get dressed in. Alyssa said that when she saw the one wall filled with windows, she knew it would be perfect to hang her dress in. She was right! The room was  the most adorable A frame room, filled to the ceiling with windows. That wall was a perfect place to hang and photograph her dress!

Alyssa and Rick said their vows in front of a flower adorned arbor that overlooked Glenora Vineyards and Seneca Lake. To make the moment even more personal, they are married by one of Rick’s childhood friends. After the ceremony they are greeted by the AMAZING events manager James, who hands them a glass of wine to cheers with their friends and family.

Their evening is filled with personal touches that really makes their wedding unique. The intros are done in a Sportscaster style, that gives the background and stats of each “player”. During their first dances a recording of them thanking their parents for being there and being amazing begins to play, as well as letters they wrote to each other.  They finished off the evening with a beautiful sparkler exit with their family and bridal party.

Thank you both so much for letting us be a part of your magical day. We enjoyed getting to know you both so much and wish you the very best!

Julianna + Ethan’s Wedding at the Niagara Falls Conference Center

Getting Ready

The day is finally here for Julianna and Ethan’s wedding at the Niagara Falls Conference Center! Let me start out by saying that Julianna and Ethan’s wedding day, 8/18/18, was the most sought after day of the year! I don’t think there has ever been so many weddings on one date!

Julianna and her bridesmaids started their day at The Makeup and Beauty Parlour in Niagara Falls, NY. One the talented ladies finished the bridesmaids hair and makeup, the girls headed back to Julianna and Ethan’s house in Devaux to get ready. Meanwhile, Ethan and the groomsmen were at The Sheraton at the Falls to get dressed.  Once dressed, the boys all headed to Jon Fres Bar & Restaurant, for a family tradition of taking 3 shots for good luck before the ceremony.

The Wedding

Julianna and Ethan’s Ceremony took place at The Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph , where Julianna walked down an aisle that she had special ordered as a surprise to ethan. The aisle read, “Of all the walks we’ve taken, this one is my favorite!”  The ceremony is filled with laughter and happy tears and finishes with a beautiful bubble exit!

When it came to the portrait session, Julianna wanted something a bit more rustic and natural looking. The owner of Sanger Farms was kind enough to let us use his beautiful property for their day! The property is filled with fields, a pond and really pretty barns. Not to mention if you have never had their pies, drop everything you are doing immediately and head to Youngstown NY for their baked goods!

The wedding at the Niagara Falls Conference Center was decorated beautifully with purple uplighting, and massive flower arrangements on every table. From the speeches to the dancing their night is filled with a ridiculous amount of fun and laughter, check out their slideshow to see more of that (especially the bouquet toss!) We finished up the evening with the entire bridal party out on old falls street with sparklers!

Thank you both so much for being so warm and making us feel so welcomed on your special day!

Alexis + Bobby’s wedding at O’Brien’s Sleepy Hollow

Their Story

Today is the day that you all get to learn more and see Alexis and Bobby’s wedding at O’Brien’s Sleepy Hollow! Alexis and Bobby met while in a summer entrepreneurship program called the sandbox. They were both getting out of relationships at the time that their friendship began. As their friendship grew, they soon found themselves talking to each other more and more throughout the day. After weeks of 12 hour a day chats, Bobby asked Alexis out on a date to Knox Farms and Buffalo Brew Works, and she said yes!

In January of 2017, Bobby asked Alexis to marry him at Brew Works, the place where they had their first date. She gladly accepted. However their joy was dampened by some complex dynamics from his family. Not wanting their engagement story to have such a negative vibe, Bob kept saying that he wanted to re-propose to make it a happier experience.

In October Bob put his plan into action. He got out of work early and took Alexis up to Rochester to see one of their favorite groups The Migos. After the concert they had the opportunity to meet them and Bob proposed, again!  Shortly after the re-proposal, Alexis sees that Quavo had snapchatted their proposal! Check out the video below!

We've been keeping a little secret, but @theshaderoom posted a video that someone took so cat's out of the bag! Bob and I got engaged (for the second time) at the Migos concert on Friday. To be clear, our first engagement was never "off," Bob had just been wanting to surprise me with something more romantic (yes, the Migos are romantic to us bc we love them) and totally out of the blue because when we got engaged back in January life was so hectic and there was a million things going on…. and people who took it upon themselves to announce our engagement before we were ready to. I was totally surprised when he left work early and whisked me away to Rochester. (I actually thought we were just going to the Strong Museum haha.) We saw the @Migos and met them and he proposed!! Here's a video right from @quavohuncho's snapchat! I can't believe Quavo snap chatted the proposal, and @offsetyrn and @yrntakeoff were so sweet and excited for us. It was a night to remember! Thank you to my love @bigshotbob808 for being a great partner and agreeing that love is about being intentional and committed. I'm more excited than ever to marry you in 10 months!!!! 👰🏾

Their Day

Their wedding at O’brien’s Sleepy Hollow was on a gorgeous August day. Alexis got dressed at their home in Orchard Park and then they headed over to Knox farms for their first look and portraits. Their ceremony took place in front of the pond at O’brien’s Sleepy Hollow. Their vows, I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful, emotional and heartfelt they were. There was not a dry eye in the audience. Which isn’t surprising seeing as Alexis is a published author and poet and that they own their own company that writes custom wedding vows and toasts! Check out their website XO Juliet

One of my favorite things about these two was how much they didn’t want the traditional wedding reception. No corny songs, no traditional wedding music. They wanted a party, with a capital P. DJ Mr.Illmatic (Mo) delivered just that. An hour of dancing before dinner was even served, followed by hours of everyone at the wedding getting down on the dance floor all night long. It was hands down on of the most fun wedding I have ever documented! Check out their slideshow to see some of their amazing dancing images!

From realizing our mutual love of Real Housewives of Beverly hills and that we were both sorted into Slytherin, I have so enjoyed getting to know Alexis and Bobby better over the past year. You are both a wonderful strong couple and I can’t wait to see where life takes you! Thank you so much for letting Marc and myself be a part of your beautiful day!
