Wedding at the Admiral Room – Whitney + Mike
I have been so excited for Whitney and Mike’s wedding at the Admiral room! Whitney and Mike met while they were both still in high school at a local tractor pull. They had a bunch of mutual friends and started talking that night and have been together ever since. Last winter Mike asked Whitney to talk their dogs for a walk at Zoar Valley. Reluctant at first because of the cold, Mike finally convinced her. When they got down to the creek, Mike asked her to marry him and had his brother there to document the whole thing!
For their wedding day Whitney wanted to stick with an elegant romantic style that matched the beauty of the Admiral room at the Marin. Keeping the decorations at a minimum to let the room shine. Their ceremony took place inside the main room, with the gold chiavari chairs light adorned with flowers. After the ceremony we quickly headed outside for a few portraits until the heavens opened up and we ran back in to avoid being poured on. As luck would have it The Admiral room is also stunning for indoor portraits as well! Once portraits were finished Whitney and Mike joined the party with the rest of their friends and family. From first dances through to ridiculously fun dancing they had a fabulous wedding at the admiral room.
