Jessica and Jake’s Wedding at Templeton Landing, Buffalo NY
Are you all ready for Jessica and Jake’s wedding at Templeton Landing! Jessica’s vision for the day was to bring the outdoors inside! She wants lots of greenery and white as well as navy blue to tie in the waterfront at Templeton Landing. The navy blue theme ran through from the girls dressing robes, to their dresses and the boys suits!
The girls started the day at the fabulous Salon Elizabeth . Lizzy did her hair and makeup, while the rest of the team worked on her bridesmaids. Once everyone was ready we took the girls outside to the patio and took a few portraits of them in their dressing robes. Jess then got dressed in the beautiful back room, helped by her mom and sister.
First looks will forever be one of my favorite things to photograph, and Jessica and Jakes was no different. Jake waited patiently outside of the Adams Mark hotel, in front of the fountain and 2:00pm, to see his beautiful bride for the first time. After their sweet first look, they all took the limo over to the outer harbor for the bridal party portraits. The outer harbor tied in perfectly with the theme of their wedding. You have such a large range of backdrops, from high grass to the beautiful rocks in front of the water.
Their ceremony was set for 5:00pm at St. Louis Church, we arrived with plenty of time for the girls to freshen up and the boys to greet the guests. Jessica’s father walked her down the aisle and there wasn’t a dry eye in the church. Jessica and Jake said “I do” and had a Bubble exit planned with their bridal party to exit the church to!
Their reception at Templeton Landing was decorated exactly how Jessica had envisioned. Maureen’s Buffalo Wholesale , decorated the tables with a combination of high and low vases overflowing with loads of greenery and white flowers. They had table clothes brough in and covered the chairs with navy blue slip covers and pretty wide white ribbons from Tesoro Event Rentals. Their cocktail hour took place on the rooftop patio that overlooked the water while the sun was setting. Their guests were invited down to the reception room and the reception officially started. Hilarious intros, tear jerking toasts, and beautiful first dances started the evening off. Once the party was in full blast, we snuck off to the rooftop for a final night portrait.
Thank you both so very much for making us feel so welcomed and to your wonderful family for treating us like we were one of their own! We loved spending the entire day with the both of you!!
