I am so excited to share Nina and Anton’s Ventosa Vineyards wedding photos!  It was so amazing sharing the day with Nina and Anton, their sweetness and love is something truly amazing to witness. Marc and I are so honored that we got to meet the both of you and share your beautiful wedding day alongside you.

Their Love Story

They met almost 8 years ago in a little bar in the village that was known for their 25 cent pitchers and rounds of beer pong.  While they both hung out there regularly, although they didn’t actually meet each other for several months.  Nina over time became friends with one of Anton’s.  One night while they were all hanging out, Nina was being bothered by a guy following her around the bar.  Nina asked Anton if he wouldn’t mind pretending to be her boyfriend so they guy would leave her alone.  Anton being the gentleman he is, kindly obliged and that is how they started seeing each other.

7 years later, after a beautiful dinner for their anniversary, Anton asked Nina to go outside and take pictures in front of the famous Pepsi sign.  Nina, although hesitant because it was raining out, gave in and went out side.  When they were in front of the sign Anton proposed!  Nina noticed a little flash go off from the bushes, to find out that Anton had hired a photographer to take pictures of the moment he proposed to her.  They decided to go back to their apartment to take a few more photos of them with their dog.  Once they arrived, Nina was created by a large spread of food, rose petals, candles and all of their family and friends surprising her with an engagement party.

Their Wedding

Their Ventosa Vineyards wedding day starts at the Ramada in Geneva.  It was hands down one of the most beautiful days of August.  Not too hot and perfectly breezy.  The girls get ready in the suite while the guys are a room over getting dressed.  Nina and Anton meet each other for their first look at Ventosa Vineyards in front of the big tree.  The sweetness between these two, is truly amazing to see.  After that we head back for a few more pictures and the start of their ceremony.

Their ceremony site is lined with beautiful hand painted signs all over to welcome and direct their guests.  The white chairs are laid out with two wine barrels with large flower center pieces on each at the front of the aisle.  After their emotional ceremony all the guests head in for an amazing dinner (and I mean absolutely amazing!)  Once the music starts and their friends take the dance floor the party is underway!

As soon as it gets dark the DJ flips the switch and puts on the blacklight.  Nina and Anton’s guests, are by far the best group of dancers Marc and I have ever seen!  After a night of dancing and having fun with friends and family, they end the night with a sparkler exit and take off to their after party.

I am so excited to share these Spring Lake Winery wedding photos from Megan and Eric’s wedding in Lockport,  New York.  It was such a joy working with the both of them, from their engagement session to the wedding day.  Thank you both so much for choosing Marc and I to document your special day alongside you.

Their Love Story

They both shared a table in physics class at RIT.  Megan, struggling with the class, decided to ask Eric for help.  Eric started helping her in class, but despite all their hours of studying, Megan still failed while he passed with an A.  She didn’t hold her failing grade against him though, and they started dated.  She was eventually won over by his cooking skills and kind heart.

In January of 2015 Megan moved to Connecticut to be with Eric.  After a long six hour drive she had finally arrived. Before unloaded the car Eric brought her upstairs for a surprise.  She walked into find a large box wrapped in snowman wrapping paper.  She unwrapped the box to find it filled with balloons, and one balloon with a ring ring attached to it.  Eric untied the ring (after a bit of a struggle) and asked her to marry him.  He topped off the surprise with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.

Their Wedding

The week leading up to their July wedding, the weather report looks ominous.  Despite the horrible forecast for thunderstorms all day, the weather holds out and they have a breezy beautiful (almost) rain free day for their Spring Lake Winery wedding.   The details that Megan poured into her wedding day are absolutely beautiful.  Everything has hand drawn calligraphy details.  From the girls hangers to, to all of the signs and even the window pane seating chart.

After their ceremony in front of the lake all of the guests head into the tent filled with farmhouse tables lined with lace runners.  Once dinner is finished they head under the pavilion to dance and party with the couple or out to the cigar bar.  Eric and megan cut their beautiful cake and danced the night away with their guests!

Buffalo Botanical Gardens Engagement Session  – Amanda + Jeremey

I am so excited to share a few images from this Buffalo Botanical Gardens engagement session of Amanda and Jeremey’s!  Even though they spend a bit of time apart with Jeremy’s job being in Switzerland and her living here, we found the perfect day for all three of us to go over to the Buffalo Botanical Gardens, and document their amazing love.  I can’t wait to document their wedding next year!!

I am so excited to share a few of my favorite Foundry wedding photos from Bethany and Ryan’s day!  It was such a pleasure getting to the both of you, from your engagement session, up to your wedding day.  Marc and I wish you both the best and a very happy marriage.

The Wedding Day

It was a sunny breezy day, the type of day that every summer bride wishes for.  Their wedding day started at the historical Foundry Suites.  Inside the bridal suite Bethany’s bridesmaids are relaxing and singing along to Mariah Carey as Sarah puts the finishing touches on Bethany’s Hair and makeup.

Bethany’s Mom helped her into her beautiful Justin Alexander gown.  Then they headed downstairs to the courtyard to do an emotional first look with Bethany and her father.  The girls quickly headed back upstairs to sip on champagne as the guys headed downstairs to start greeting guests for the ceremony.

After the ceremony has finished we all drive downtown to Niagara Square to take formal portraits.  We quickly headed back to the Foundry, where the reception kicks off with toasts from the maid of honor, and best man.  Shortly after dinner the music starts and the fun and dancing to celebrate the marriage of these two wonderful people begins.

I am so excited to share with you some of Karly and Brian’s Sheraton at the falls wedding photos!  They were so wonderful to work with and their reception was a ton of fun!  I am so thankful that I got to document your guys wedding!

Their Story

Karly and Brian met their first semester of college at NCCC.  They started out as good friends who both loved to snowboard.  Weekly trips to Holliday valley brought them close together and they started dating.  It was Christmas morning a year ago when Brian proposed to Karly under their Christmas tree.  Karley knew they were meant to have a winter wedding.

Their Wedding

Karly and Brian wanted their wedding to resemble a snowy night on the mountain.  The room was decoded in crisp white to resembles a winters day.  They Filled cylinders with white sparkly branches, and snow flakes hung from the ceiling.  To really complete the room they had dozens of decorated christmas trees decorated along the one wall.  The entire room look like a winter wonderland.

Outside however was a different story.  It was an unseasonable warm day, 55 degrees to be exact.  I know this because the first thing I did when i saw the weather that morning, was text Karley “its 55 out!!!!”  What I didn’t realize though, was that there was a wind advisory.  60mph wind gusts that made it horrible to stand outside.

Karly and Brian had their first look inside of the hotel in the ceremony room.  Afterwards they all braved the wind and went outdoors to do their formal portraits.  We did their portraits behind the Sheraton at the Falls, in Niagara Falls.  This overlooks the Niagara River with the Grand Island bridge in the background.

After their portraits we headed back inside for their evening ceremony.  Afterwards everyone headed to their winter wonderland reception upstairs.  The amazing toy bros, kept the party going and everyone danced the night away!

Don’t forget to check out their Sheraton at the falls wedding day slideshow at the end!
